Welcome to our praise and worship guide using the Psalms.
This guide is intended to help you spend a few minutes in worship on a daily basis. The worship activities for each day will take about 10 minutes, and are best done before your normal devotional time. May God richly bless you as you take time to reflect on who He is and what He’s doing in your life!
Psalm 119:89-96
Day 1
Read verse 89. Praise God because He is eternal. Tell Him how you rejoice that you can trust His promises and truths, because they stand firm forever. Tell Him how you treasure the eternal firmness of His Word. Tell Him about a time this has helped you, and thank Him. |
Day 2
Read verse 90. Praise God because He is faithful. Tell Him how He has been faithful to His promises in your life recently and in the past. Think about how He has been faithful through many generations in bringing you to this point in your journey. Thank Him for His acts of faithfulness. |
Day 3
Read verses 91 and 92. Think about what it means that God has given you all things; thank Him. Tell God how much you delight in His law. Spend some quiet worship time bowing at the feet of Jesus, telling Him about times you would have perished in your circumstances if it had not been for His Word. |
Day 4
Read verses 93 and 94. How has God’s Word preserved your life? Tell Him this and thank Him for your life. As you bow in quiet worship, ask Him to fill you with a confidence in His faithfulness to continue to preserve your life. Tell Him that your life is His, and that you will never forget His commands. |
Day 5
Pray the entire psalm to the Lord today. Tell God how much you rejoice in the boundlessness of His promises, and His relationship with you. |
