Welcome to our praise and worship guide using the Psalms.

This guide is intended to help you spend a few minutes in worship on a daily basis. The worship activities for each day will take about 10 minutes, and are best done before your normal devotional time. May God richly bless you as you take time to reflect on who He is and what He’s doing in your life!

***This week we look at verses from the Gospel of Luke as we approach Christmas.

Day 1

Read verses 8-10. Praise God because He is a God of love, not fear. What is there about the Christmas story that is good news for you. Tell God how you are rejoicing as you think about the significance of God’s incredible gift.

Day 2

Read verse 11. Thank God for sending a Saviour. Adore the Lord Jesus by bowing at His feet in worship. Thank Him for your salvation. Reaffirm that He is your Lord. Listen quietly as He speaks to you about any areas you need to give over to His Lordship.

Day 3

Read verse 12. Reflect again on the humility of the Lord Jesus when He came to earth. Thank Him for His willingness to leave glory for the suffering of this world, so that you could have life. Ask Him to show you His humility in your own life as you bow before Him in worship.

Day 4

Read verses 13 and 14a. Glorify God with the angels. Praise Him because of His wisdom, love and mercy. As you decorate and do your shopping, be reminded by the decorative angels around you to give glory to God.

Day 5

Read verse 14b. Thank God again for His mercy and favour toward you. Tell Him how you rejoice in it. Bow in His presence and allow the peace of God’s love and the Good News of the Saviour to fill your heart as you continue to worship during this Christmas season.
