Welcome to our praise and worship guide using the Psalms. This guide is intended to help you spend a few minutes in worship on a daily basis. The worship activities for each day will take about 10 minutes, and are best done before your normal devotional time.  May God richly bless you as you take time to reflect on who He is and what He’s doing in your life!

Day 1

Read verses 1-5. Praise God today because of His righteousnenss (He is committed to His laws). Remind the Lord as David does of your commitment to living righteously according to His laws. Thank Him for His Spirit, who works this in you. Ask Him to guard your lips from deceit and your feet from slipping. If He reminds you of some fault, confess it and receive His forgiveness.

Day 2

Pray verses 6 and 7 to the Lord today. Praise Him because of His steadfast love toward you because of Jesus. Thank Him for the access you have to His mercy seat; thank Him that He listens and answers. Bring your specific, personal requests to Him and ask Him to show His love to you in in wonderful way. Affirm that you trust in Him as Saviour and take refuge in Him.

Day 3

Pray verses 8 and 9 to the Lord today. Thank God for the favour He shows to you because of Jesus. Specifically thank Him for recent blessings. Also thank Him for His protection. Again, be specific. Tell Him how some circumstance or temptation threatens you right now, and ask Him for shelter from it.

Day 4

Read verses 10-14. Praise God because of His power. Tell Him who or what your enemies are and thank Him for past deliverance. Continue to ask Him for present deliverance. Ask Him to help you not to covet what unbelievers have.

Day 5

Read verse 15. Praise God again today because of His righteousness. Thank Him for His Word that reveals this to you. Tell Him how much you desire to grow in becoming more like Jesus in obedience and living to please Him.
