Dear Parents,

We want to welcome your clubber (s) back to AWANA for 2017.

We hope you & your family had a great Christmas season as we celebrated the birth of the Saviour.

The clubbers continue to make progress through their handbooks as they learn about the Bible, and God’s love for them.  We encourage you to help your child prepare for each AWANA night by making sure they have their books with them when they come.  You can also help them with sections in their handbook by reading along with them.

Reminders:

Please come inside the church to pick up your kids each night at 8 PM.  We don’t want kids in the parking lot without an adult present. Use the side door of the church, and you’re welcome to stay for the evening if you’d like.  Just identify yourself to one of the leaders.

If school is cancelled for weather related reasons, then AWANA is cancelled as well.

The upcoming events for AWANA are as follows:

January 17 – Grandparents night- Grandparents are welcome to come an enjoy AWANA with                   the kids.

January 31– Moustache night- wear your favorite style moustache.

February 14– Red night- Happy Valentine’s Day!

February 28– Shades night- Wear your favorite sunglasses to AWANA!

March 14- Beach Party Night come ready for a beach party with your favorite beach shirt, shorts, sandals, surf board, whatever dude!

March 21– No AWANA due to March Break.

Ride Program**: For those who are involved in our ride program

Steven and Gloria Welton will pick up the children at their homes each week around 6:00 PM to take them to the children’s program. They will drop the children back home around 8:30PM.

**The ride program is for kids who do not have access to transportation and has limited seats available.
